Ebla’s mission is to provide locally grounded, collectively produced, globally engaged knowledge that is responsive to the needs of an unequal world.
MEET THE TEAM
Ebla is initiated by socially engaged women researchers, with decades of experience seeking to institutionalize their accumulated learning over the years and provide the space to expand their collaborative efforts. They have complementary backgrounds and have worked as a team for many years on various multidisciplinary projects and have a solid understanding of the political, socio-economic, environmental and security context in Lebanon and the Arab region and brings in a track record of fieldwork.

RESEARCH THEMES
Thematically, Ebla’s research focuses is on conflict and violence, refugeehood and migration, socio-political dynamics of economic policies and justice, including energy justice, the environment and the relations surrounding commons, and collective socio-political organizing.
